Hi, I’m Shannon, the person behind Glitter & Grid. I help small businesses turn ideas, information and neglected digital platforms into clear websites, engaging emails and useful content.

I’m a hands-on marketing professional with experience spanning website development, SEO, content strategy, email marketing, digital advertising, graphic design, editorial work and integrated campaigns. I currently work in a Marketing Executive role, developing WordPress and Elementor pages, improving search visibility and shaping useful content for traditional search and emerging AI-led discovery.

Before that, I spent almost five years growing through communications and marketing roles within a UK membership organisation. My work covered website management, email campaigns, monthly publications, blog and press content, digital advertising, print design, event marketing, training communications, audience research and performance reporting.

My approach combines creativity with organisation.

I understand the reality of working with busy teams, technical information and too many competing priorities. I’m happiest taking a rough collection of ideas and turning it into something clear, polished and genuinely useful, whether that is a website journey, an email campaign, a publication or a longer content plan.

Every project begins with three practical questions: what does the business need, what does the customer need to understand, and what action should the finished work encourage?

No. Glitter & Grid works with businesses throughout the UK, with meetings and communication online.

Do I need to provide my own website text?+

You can provide finished content, rough notes or existing wording. Copywriting can also be included.

Are hosting and domain costs included?+

Unless stated otherwise, hosting, domain registration and premium software are separate. Clients should own their accounts.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?+

Usually, yes, subject to an initial review.

Do you provide custom coding?+

Glitter & Grid specialises in WordPress and Elementor. Advanced development may require a specialist.

How many revisions are included?+

The number is stated in the proposal. Additional revisions may be charged separately.

Can I pay monthly?+

Monthly payment is available for maintenance, email and content packages. Website builds use staged payments.

Do you offer service exchanges?+

Partial exchanges may occasionally be considered with established local businesses and qualified tradespeople.

Can you guarantee sales or Google rankings?+

No. The focus is clarity, consistency, customer experience and strong digital foundations.

Starter templates are included for a Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Website Terms, Client Service Terms, Accessibility Statement and Disclaimer. They cover deposits, payment dates, revision limits, client delays, content responsibility, cancellation, domain and hosting ownership, copyright transfer, maintenance exclusions, service exchanges, late payment, third-party software and additional work.

These templates are practical starting points, not legal advice, and must be tailored to the final business setup before public launch.
